adcv, the Founder & Chef at Steakhouse Financial has agreed to join the Crypto Accounting Academy, starting Cohort 5 on January 9th, 2025. As part of our team of esteemed instructors, adcv will empower accounting and finance professionals to confidently navigate the business world using digital assets.

Since launching in October 2023, the Crypto Accounting Academy has been on a mission to stay ahead of the curve. Our curriculum evolves with the industry, including notable additions like classes on company formation for web3 startups.

“Adcv & his team have made a significant contribution to advancing the state of on-chain accounting by developing a methodology to offer real-time & independently verifiable financial statements for DAOs. Bringing adcv on board is more than just an addition - it’s a giant leap forward. Now, our Academy students can learn directly from a pioneer shaping transparency in web3”
Umar Mallam Hassam, the Creator of The Accountant Quits.

Steakhouse Financial is run like a family-friendly BBQ restaurant that also offers crypto-native financial advisory services. Their mission? To build a new era of open, transparent finance.

This seasoned team of crypto-native collaborators or “chefs” brings together expertise in financial advisory, strategic planning, investment banking, analytics, accounting, legal research, and coding. Their goal? To help DAOs navigate the complex world of decentralized finance with clarity and confidence.

Their clients include industry-renowned names such as MakerDAO, ENS, Lido, Morpho, and Badger. Their methodology for creating real-time financials is open-sourced, uses a principles-based approach, and is independently verifiable.

✨ What will adcv teach our students

On our podcast, when adcv was asked where accountants should focus their upskilling efforts, his answer was clear: “Accountants are not safe for the next years; they just have to keep learning and figuring things out.”

His insight echoes our belief: blockchain isn’t just a passing trend - it’s here to stay. For accountants willing to invest the time to learn it, this is an opportunity to future-proof their careers and not become redundant.

In his upcoming class, "The Balance Sheet View of Crypto," adcv will tackle topics below;

  1. Decentralized protocols as balance sheets
  2. Stablecoins and their place in the hierarchy of money
  3. Understand how to account for using and accounting for decentralized protocols

Cohort 5 begins January 9, 2025, and spots are filling up fast. If you’re serious about staying relevant, now’s the time to secure your seat. Don’t wait, register today.
